Each bubble in the bubble chart represents a food item. By default, the x- and y-axes represent the carbon footprint and the energy content in kcal respectively, these can be changed by clicking on the axis labels. The size of each bubble is by default the carbon footprint, and can be changed by clicking the “bubble size” label.
The bubbles can be filtered by clicking on the different food categories in the top legend or by adding filters on the right side of the chart. You can also zoom and pan in the bubble chart.
By clicking on a bubble, you will get more information about the nutritional values and carbon footprint of that specific food item. The nutrients can in turn be filtered by clicking the different nutrient legends to remove them from the chart. We separate between micro and macro nutrients.
